Hoot Hoot Hooray!


Over the weekend, I finished up my Trimmings Competition project. With one packet of trimmings, I was able to make 7 baby zakka owls! I altered this pattern and made my batch chubbier and in various sizes. And then with the leftover scraps I put together a couple of bunting banners. I was even able to make one more item with the leftover-leftover scraps. I just couldn't stand to throw them out! You can check out all the other entries on Umbrella Prints' Flickr group.

    if i'm ever lucky enough to find a genie in a bottle, i'd ask for the patience to learn how to sew. mon, you're a goddess. these owls and bunting flags are soooo cute!
